It is suggested you bring a drum or rattle, notebook and pen

Ages 15+
Please no children under fifteen - we have found they are too distracting when we engage in deep inner work and inner journeys - and we often discuss grown up topics. Also, this is often the only time many women in the group have for themselves, away from the demands of their families, work and children.
Thank you for understanding...

July 27th, 2013 Saturday

We will be watching an extraordinary documentary Canadian Film called "Goddess Remembered" and learn how the loss of goddess centered society coincides with today's environmental crisis. After, we will connect to the power of women coming together in sacred space to uplift ourselves and the planet.

This documentary is a salute to 35,000 years of the goddess-worshipping religions of the ancient past. The film features Merlin Stone, Carol Christ, Luisah Teish and Jean Bolen, all of whom link the loss of goddess-centric societies with today's environmental crisis. Shot in Greece, Malta, Britain, France and North America. Music by Loreena McKennitt. This is the first part of a 3-part series that includes The Burning Times and Full Circle.

This is an ongoing women's circle to introduce women to ancient wisdom traditions, and the power of women coming together through connection to the council of grandmothers. Through the power of this council and through creating a safe village, we will bring healing and greater wholeness to our lives. We will immerse ourselves in earth based teachings, healing songs, divination and or sacred dance to connect to the deeper meaning and purpose in our lives.

Each circle will begin by creating sacred space and protection through calling in the directions. If time permits, we may journey to the council of Grandmothers for words of wisdom and healing for the circle as a whole. Time permitting, a cleansing may be available after the circle (no extra fee).
